Hi!
I’m Flo, I’ve been working in the Visual effects and animation industry for more than 10 years. I worked on feature films ( Detective Pikachu, Spider Man, Deadpool 2…), animation (Despicable me 2, Madagascar 3…), Commercials, Music videos and interactive art projects (such as video mapping). This webinar is for everyone curious about VFX, willing to work or study VFX. There is no age-limit. My main competences are compositing and motion design, but this general knowledge I’m about to teach applies to any job in the VFX and animation industry.

Je m’appelle Flo, je travaille dans le milieu des effets spéciaux (VFX) et du cinéma d’animation depuis plus de 10ans. J’ai travaillé sur des films (Détective Pikachu, Spider Man, Deadpool 2…) des films d’animation (Moi moche et méchant 2, Madagascar 3…), des pubs, des clips vidéos et des projets artistiques interactifs (vidéo mapping entre autre). J’ai par ailleurs aussi été prof d’effets visuelles à l’université Paris 8 et pour l’excellente platform Pluralsight. Ce masterclass ne sera pas technique et ne traitera pas de logiciels, nous n’apprendrons pas comment faire des effets spéciaux. Mon but ici étant de vous donner les outils et les connaissances du milieu afin de vous aider à obtenir votre premier emplois.
J’ai reçu beaucoup de questions quant à mon travail et au milieu dans lequel j’évolue. Je tenterai de répondre à toutes ces questions durant ces trois sessions!

Mes spécialisations sont principalement le compositing et le motion design, mais c’est une formation générale qui s’applique à tous les domaines de l’industrie.
